Authentic French restaurants are few and far between these days but Bistro Pierre delivers in true Gallic style. You’ll find this vibrant, inner-city eaterie in the heart of Liverpool’s Cavern Quarter near the world famous Mathew Street, in an old warehouse building which with its wooden floors and exposed brickwork has readily transformed itself into a rustic French bistro. Service is relaxed, warm and friendly.
There is a wide selection of ‘entrées’ and ‘plats de resistance’. There’s also a great value ‘Lunch Rapide menu’ (3 courses £9.75 with a roast available on Sundays) and for those after a lighter lunch, Bistro Pierre also offer the ‘Assiette de France’; a selection of French specialities including baked camembert, pan-fried frogs legs with a parsley butter, fish cakes, a charcuterie selection, marinated olives, fruit chutney, cornichons and served with toasted croûtes for £8.50. Both lunch options are served from 12 – 4.30pm and attracts both shoppers and the business crowd alike. Bistro Pierre boasts a ‘Pre Théâtre menu’, a 3 course dinner for £11.95 and this is available from 4.30 – 7pm Sunday to Thursday & 4.30 – 6.30pm on Friday & Saturday. A monthly changing ‘A La Carte menu’ is on offer from 4.30 – 10pm, Monday to Saturday. Our frequently changing menus ensure the very best of fresh and seasonal market produce.
Don’t forget the weekly ‘Wednesday Wine and Dine’, 2 courses from the ‘A La Carte’ menu plus a bottle of house wine per person £15.95 (remember to book – parties welcome). The same offer is available for students on a Monday night.
