Authentic French restaurants are few and far between these days but Bistro Pierre delivers in true Gallic style. You’ll find this vibrant, inner-city eaterie in the heart of Liverpool’s Cavern Quarter near the world famous Matthew Street, in an old warehouse building which with its wooden floors and exposed brickwork has readily transformed itself into a rustic French bistro. Service is relaxed, warm and friendly.
There is a good selection of entrées and plats de resistance. There’s also a great-value ‘Lunch Rapide’ menu from 12 – 4.30pm (3 courses £8.95 – roast available Sundays) which attracts both shoppers and the business crowd alike. Bistro Pierre boasts a ‘Pre Théâtre’ menu, a 3 course dinner for £11.95 and this is available from 4.30 – 7pm Sunday – Thursday & 4.30 – 6.30pm on Friday & Saturday. A monthly changing ‘A La Carte’ menu is on offer from 4.30 – 10pm, Monday – Saturday, thus making use of fresh and seasonal produce.
Don’t forget the weekly ‘Wednesday Night Special Offer’, 2 courses from the ‘A La Carte’ menu plus a bottle of house wine per person £14.95 (remember to book – parties welcome). The same offer is available for students on a Monday night.
